Fairies

Fairies are fun, magic and frolicking beings, very real and very powerful yet loving and mischievous particularly when in the form of Pixies.. Fairies hold rainbow and butterfly energy which asks us to lighten up and enjoy life, kick starting and encouraging us to transform our lives. We are here for such a short time and Fairies encourage us to see that it is better to have a great time and stay positive about everything we do.

The Fairies work alongside the elemental kingdom of sprites and divas as well as with the flora and fauna they come in many different colours, shapes, sizes and forms some live in toadstools, some in flowers, some in trees and some in bushes however they don't only live in the bottom of the garden. They like all gardens and landscapes and do like to be warned though if humans are going to cut the grass or hedges or dig a vegetable plot or flower bed just so that they can move their families out of the way, just believe that they are there and talk to them that is the Secret of enjoying Fairies in your garden

All the stories and fables about Faeries compound the idea that they are nature's guardian angels and they need us to help them fulfil their purpose and be co-guardians of planet earth. They are very much in evidence at this time helping people to raise environmental awareness and showing us how we are damaging our planet and what we as individuals can do to make the world a better place.

I have always loved Fairies and Fairy stories like Peter Pan which asks us to believe in them by clapping our hands so their power and strength is boosted. Other favourites are Aesops Fables, Grimms Fairy Tales, all Hans Christian Anderson's stories as well as of course The Water Babies, Alice in Wonderland and Frank Baum's unforgettable 'The Marvelous Wizard of Oz'. Wether or not you believe in Fairies the powerful and wonderful Arthur Rackham illustrations are always magical to look at take a wander at www.artpassions.net/rackham
