Duckhole
Designs was established in November 2005 by Jenny Harrison. Jenny
is an artist living in the Bristol area of the U K she has a BA honours
degree in Fine Art and a Post Graduate degree in Illustration. She
has exhibited in Bristol, London and the Isle of Wight.
Jenny
has many creative talents and interests including Sculpture, Sumi,
Calligraphy, watercolour, textiles, silk painting, lino printing
and computer generated design. Her lively mind and eye for detail
enables her to focus on many aspects of design enjoying researching
and finding simple and beautiful answers to any design brief.
At present Jenny is working towards an exhibition in early 2008 of a series of forty four paintings which embrace all aspects of her creativity. The ideas for this body of work come from shamanic journey work and meditative experiences as well as from many classical and modern, sculptors, painters and poets including Krishna, Saraswati, Rumi, Ch'i Pai-shih, Matisse, Chagall, Hockney, Damien Hirst, Kahil Gibran, Bob Dylan and many others which have proved of great inspirational and creative value to her.
As well as working on her own creative projects Jenny is the Marketing Manager for a Bristol based ornamental plaster company with whom she has been connected in an artistic and business vein from the beginnings.
